Carrier Ethernet Company RAD Data Communications (News - Alert) might be gearing up to speak at Carrier Ethernet World Congress, which opens in Amsterdam on Oct. 10., but there is one other trade show that will be hearing from the company first – COMPTEL (News - Alert) Plus Fall 2011.

Taking place from Oct. 2-5 in Orlando, Fla., COMPTEL Plus is the preeminent networking event for innovative communications companies and their supplier partners, according to event officials. Held twice a year, COMPTEL Plus attracted almost 200 exhibitors and more than 3,700 attendees to the 2010 events.

This year, RAD’s Vice President of Ethernet Access Eitan Schwartz will join some of the leading technology experts in the industry when he speaks at a session titled “Managing Network Growth: Meeting Demands and Expectations.” The session takes place today, Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and features speakers from Sidera Networks, Raisecom and BTI Systems (News - Alert) in addition to RAD.

During his address, Schwartz will touch upon four essential components for managing network growth: flexible interface options, traffic management, service validation and assurance, and performance monitoring. Moreover, he will shed some light on why truly successful network growth can only be achieved by employing hardware-based OAM and traffic management that includes tools such as hierarchical scheduling and per-EVC shaping.

RAD Data Communications (News - Alert) is a single-vendor source offering a flexible, high-capacity Ethernet and legacy TDM service aggregation platform, suitable for wholesale, mobile, business, cloud, and governmental communications services.

Once the Carrier Ethernet company wraps up in Orlando, two more company officials will make their way to Amsterdam to take center stage to present two lectures during the Carrier Ethernet World Congress. RAD’s Yacov Cazes and Ronen Guri are among the many telecommunications industry experts who are scheduled to speak at the event.

Carrier Ethernet World Congress, now in its seventh year, brings together over 600 attendees for the largest conference and exhibition for the Ethernet networking and services industry. The event features over 100 presentations, discussion panels, briefings and master classes having to do with the Carrier Ethernet industry.
