Andrew joined Vodafone in 2013 as its head of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) in the Americas.

Andrew is responsible for leading Vodafone’s M2M sales, strategy and operational initiatives in North and South America. His key area of focus for the region is the application of M2M technologies which enable creative new business models to drive growth in both established and emerging markets. "The Americas region is a distinct combination of markets which Vodafone is uniquely positioned to serve. The expertise Vodafone brings as the true leader in M2M solutions brings significant advantage to enterprises looking to develop new revenue streams from solutions in this space".

Andrew brings a wealth of experience in the global telecommunications industry to the role. He joins from Cable&Wireless Worldwide where he was the Managing Director for the Americas for the past three years. In this role, Andrew had overall commercial and strategic responsibility for the company’s enterprise and carrier sales, marketing, HR and service delivery operations in the region. Prior to joining Cable&Wireless Worldwide, Andrew worked for Telstra for over a decade in multiple roles including President and CEO of Telstra Inc, leading the Americas region for Telstra International.

Andrew has also held senior management roles with organisations such as Nortel where he managed the relationship between Nortel and SBC through the acquisition of Pacific Bell and SNET. He has also worked as Director of Sales Operations and Regional Vice President of Sales for Prism Communications as well as holding sales and management positions with Nynex Meridian Systems.

Philippe Lindheimer is the Project Leader and primary Developer of FreePBX and the Open Source Community Director for Bandwidth.com. Philippes interest in telecom began in the early 1990s when he worked at Hewlett Packards European Headquarters helping leading telephone companies re-architect their Business Support Systems. For more than two decades he has worked in the Engineering industry in a range of technical consulting roles with Fortune 500 Companies. He has been involved in creating and presenting numerous technical training events on a worldwide basis and has spoken at past AstriCon developer conferences and Asterisk World. He is co-founder of the popular Open Telephony Training Seminar series focused on real word Asterisk/FreePBX technical and marketing/sales training.

Mark Spencer founded Digium, Inc., in 1999 as Linux Support Systems while still a computer engineering student at Auburn University. When faced with the high cost of buying a PBX for the company, Spencer simply used his Linux PC and knowledge of C code to develop his own PBX. This was the beginning of the worldwide open source phenomenon known as Asterisk.As Asterisk gained in popularity, Spencer shifted his business focus from Linux support to supporting Asterisk and opening up the telecom market. Mark renamed the company Digium and transformed the fledgling upstart into the leading open source telecommunication provider in the world today.As the Chairman and CTO of Digium, Mark Spencer continues to drive the strategic vision and technology direction of the company as well as focus on the development and growth of the Asterisk Community at large.Spencer is widely regarded as the pioneer of open source telephony and gives frequent keynote addresses to large technology audiences.

Magnus Lundgren is Head of Connected Vehicle Cloud for Ericsson. Based in Sweden, he is responsible for overseeing global service enablement sales towards industry and society focused clients. Prior to joining Ericsson in 2007, Lundgren served as Senior Business Development Director for Drutt, a Swedish pioneer in mobile storefronts. He also has several years of experience in the Telecom Business Support Systems space and software development for the automotive industry. Lundgren holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.

He has over 23 years of wireless telecommunications management experience in product management, business development and strategy. Prior to Joining Sprint, Mohamad served as the Sr. Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Virgin Mobile, he also headed the CDMA Product Management at Ericsson China. Throughout his career Mohamad held various leadership positions at Siemens, MCI, GTE and Qualcomm. Mohamad holds patents in EVDO technology.

Wei Tang is a highly-experienced and acknowledged expert in the international telecommunications industry and is now Yealink Network Technology's VP Business Development & Key Account Sales for North America. He began his career with a BSc degree from Beijing University, followed by an MSc from the University of Virginia - both in Electrical Engineering.

He has accumulated more than 15 years of varied telecommunication industry experience. This ranges from UC&C applications to 4G wireless infrastructure, mobility and security software and telecom OSS/BSS systems. Moreover, he has also worked extensively for startups and multinational companies in US, China and Korea in engineering, marketing, business development and sales positions.

Among his achievements, Wei Tang led the development of the world's first P2P Mobile-IP secure communication system. He was also at the helm during the design of a small cell product for MSO and throughout successful trials with major cable operators, such as Comcast and TWC. He currently leads key projects and manages strategic partnerships in the US.
