NewNet Talks About New Initiatives at WiMAX Caribbean Forum

NewNet Communications is one of the leaders in the mobility, broadband and signaling solutions fields. The company specializes in wireless Internet and signaling services. The company was recently one of the keynote attendees at this year’s annual WiMAX Carribean Forum, which took place on July 26th in Miami, Florida.

NewNet VP, Kevin Gutzmer spoke at the event, and detailed his company’s plans going forward when it came to WiMAX and how it was going to handle the growing competition from companies that have gone with a 4G cellular approach. NewNet says that it has the broadest global reach of any WiMAX provider and a best in class service to carriers, operators and individual customers. The company also detailed some expansion plans that would help NewNet enter into new verticals it has not dabbled in before. 

NewNet is headquartered in Arlington Heights Illinois and currently has a WiMAX network that includes a worldwide deployment of more than 75 networks, serving people in over 21 different countries. NewNet has long specialized in signaling and wireless broadband, always attempting to get its customers’ data transmission where they need to go as fast as possible. The company has also put an emphasis on secure messaging and wireless broadband, something more customers worry a great deal about in the age of hacking and identity theft. Less than honorable types are always looking for ways to intercept data packages in order to get their hands on any piece of information they can turn into profit.

The WiMAX Caribbean Forum has served as a marketplace of ideas for those companies doing business in this particular vertical. The forum is an industry-led coop that works to certify the compatibility of broadband wireless companies and products. The forum works closely with various entities in order to try and further foster adoption of WiMAX networks across the globe.
