Trilithic Announces Management Changes in Communication Test Equipment

The communication test equipment market has had its fair share of worthy competitors, yet Trilithic continues to dominate through innovation and strong leadership. The company recently announced that Mark Darragh has been promoted to product manager to the company’s Leakage Systems in the Broadband Instruments Group.
Coming onboard Trilithic in 2007 as an applications engineer, Darragh will now offer his leadership in this premier group of communication test equipment. Darragh had a seven-year run at Acterna as a TAC engineer, worked in product support engineering and as a software support specialist at tech companies before joining Trilithic.
Darragh’s background in communication test equipment engineering will be especially useful as he takes the helm as product manager for the Leakage System. He received electrical engineer technology training through ITT (News - Alert) Technical Institute, training that is expected to serve him well in this new role.
The Leakage line now under Darragh’s management includes several featured communication test equipment products. The CT-2/CT-3 Channel Tag is billed as a solution to false alarms. These products are fine-tuned to detect leakage sources in overbuilt areas as well as boosting interference protection.
Another vital piece of communication test equipment is the LAW, or leakage analysis workshop. When added to the services of a GPS-based leakage detector, the LAW points technicians directly to the source of leakage for quick support. It also features an automated data collection and work order management solution.
The LAW works hand-in-hand with another communication test equipment product called the Seeker. This is the high-performance GPS-based leakage detector that can be used in the field to troubleshoot leakage problems with a multi-frequency recording that assists technicians in finding the source of the problem. The little brother to the Seeker is the Seeker Lite2. This piece of communication test equipment is especially useful in finding leaks in the cable installations.
Trilithic made other engineering promotions recently, including Daniel Dillon as the director of product marketing in the company’s mobile systems applications division. With Dillon’s knowledge of engineering (he graduated from Purdue with a degree in electrical engineering), he is uniquely suited to market the mobile devices and software in Trilithic’s communication test equipment, other devices and software.
Trilithic’s mantra is to think ahead. Keeping up strong engineering representation throughout the company is helping them to stay on top of the communication test equipment game, and it’s also helping them to listen to the needs of the community. This approach is securing the company’s position as a leading provider of communications technology for providers specializing in IPTV (News 
- Alert), broadcast, cable, and RF and microwave markets in countries around the globe.
