By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

Stealth.com Inc., a provider of specialized computers and peripherals for enterprises, Government, and military agencies, has announced the introduction of the LPC-125LPFM mini computer for industrial, mobile/in-vehicle and embedded applications. The company's latest offering has been designed as a compact and rugged fanless computer which pushes the boundaries in small form factor computing.

The LPC-125LPFM mini computer which draws less than 20 Watts of operational power is rugged, noise free and is capable of operating in wide range of temperatures. Designed to be energy efficient and flexible in deployment, the mini PC comes in a 4.6" x 6.1" x 2.0" form, weighs 1.2lbs or 0.54kg and operates from 10-26V of DC power. These capabilities of the LPC-125LPFM model make it ideal for deployment in DC powered applications.

In a release, Ed Boutilier, Stealth CEO, said, "The LPC-125LPFM is the smallest fanless PC we have offered to date. The rugged chassis, wide operating temperatures, DC voltage input and our smart power interface for controlled system start-up and shut-down makes it ideal for embedded, field and in-vehicle computing apps."

Stealth has based the fanless mobile PC on the energy optimizing Intel D525 Pineview 1.8GHz Dual Core processor technology with dual physical cores and four Intel Hyperthreading resources. Because of its low-power consumption capability, the mini computer is capable of delivering high performance for a wide range of embedded and in-vehicle applications.

Featured within the LPC-125LPFM Mini computer are a host of in-built I/O connectivity which include Gigabit LAN, 2-Serial, Audio and Video In/Out, 3-USB, 2-PS/2 ports and 1-external express card slot. The PC comes with a rear locking DC power connector which has been included to ensure power connectivity. Additional features within the mini PC include an internal Mini-PCIe card slot to support additional expansion and a 4GB of DDR3 SODIMM memory.

The LPC-125LPFM PC has been designed with a standard 55GB solid state drive (SSD) to ensure functionality even in the most toughest environments. Furthermore, the model can also be configured with a 2.5" mobile hard drive with 750GB capacity.
