Customer 'State of Mind' Targeting Ad Platform Ubimo Expands with New Office in New York

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

Ubimo, a pioneer of real-time, mindset and context aware mobile advertising technology, today announced the launch of its first office in the United States in New York. This marks the first major expansion of the Tel Aviv-based company, as it scales up to meet growing demand. Over the past 18 months, Ubimo gained significant traction at the forefront of the exploding field of programmatic media buying, since announcing its initial seed funding of $2 million last August from Pitango Venture Capital. During this past year, Ubimo entered into a strategic partnership with MobileFuse, a mobile advertising company, and has since launched a number of campaigns for leading consumer brands.

"Programmatic media buying is the future of both advertising technology and strategy, and we've focused on serving this critical need for organizations by delivering the best available software and solutions in the market," said Ubimo CEO Ran Ben-Yair. "At the same time, our ad technology enables agencies and brands who are struggling to reach their audience at the opportune time to tap into their consumer's state of mind with innovative ad targeting capabilities that are real-time, context-based and highly accurate. The insights we are providing have raised the bar for better measurement and performance of our clients' mobile advertising campaigns."

With Ubimo, advertisers can leverage real world context together with the latest programmatic media buying technologies to accurately reach their target audience in the right state of mind in real-time. Ubimo incorporates customizable data sets with forecsting and advanced targeting capabilities to go beyond location, transforming signals such as: latitude and longitude, first party data, live weather and local events into greater context and awareness of the audience's current state of mind. The platform enables advertisers to engage audiences with the right messages at the right time, resulting in greater response.

Ubimo's proven leadership team is comprised of former Google (News - Alert), Matomy (MTMY) and PayPal employees. COO Gilad Amitai has been tapped to head the New York office, overseeing operations and business development. Amitai is a veteran of the advertising industry, previously leading at Matomy Media as General Manager, a global display advertising company, where he oversaw strategy and growth of the company's operations. He also served as SVP of Media for all of Matomy Group.

Gilad Amitai said, "We've already established key partnerships and achieved positive results for our initial US-based clients. Opening our New York office is just starting the next phase of our growth plans, and we will be quickly expanding our US footprint through additional integral partnerships."

MobileFuse Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Harlan said, "Ubimo's state of mind and contextual mobile ad technology integrates seamlessly with our mobile ad technology stack. Ubimo has enabled us to identify our client's key audience segments within the right frame of mind, and then optimize and deliver tailored creative ads that are significantly more effective in delivering results through programmatic media buying. We're already receiving very positive responses from clients on the results we've achieved."
