New West Technologies Welcomes GAO Decision Affirming U.S. Department of Energy MOTS Contract Award

New West Technologies ("New West"), a member of Cybergy Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: CYBG), welcomes the decision by the U.S. General Accountability Office (GAO) affirming the award of a three-year, $85 million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Mission Oriented Technical Support (MOTS) services supporting the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (DOE/EERE).

This GAO decision lays the groundwork for DOE/EERE to proceed with its original decision made in September 2014 to award the MOTS contract to the Allegheny Science & Technology Corp. (AST) team. Under the terms of this contract, New West will serve as a key partner to AST and will continue to provide engineering, project management assistance, and other vital services in support of DOE/EERE's energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation, strategic programs, and business operations activities.

"New West is pleased to continue supporting EERE's mission-critical activities to build a cleaner, greener, and more energy efficient economy," said New West President Steve Hauser. "We are especially excited about the team AST has assemble."

Mark Gray, Chairman and CEO of Cybergy Partners, itself a subsidiary of Cybergy Holdings, Inc., said that the MOTS services contract fits in well with the overall mission of the Cybergy family of companies, "The services New West will offer DOE under this contract align well with our broader mission of solving the tough challenges facing our nation's critical infrastructure, including how to enhance our national energy security."
