Mojix and InSync Partner to Enable Lygase SmartEvents Deployment at RFID Journal LIVE! 2010

Apr 15, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Mojix and InSync announced collaborative support to enable the Lygase "SmartEvents" web hosted business intelligence application that will debut at RFID Journal LIVE! 2010, which runs through April 16, in Orlando, Florida.

According to the companies, the new Lygase offering taps low-cost passive RFID real-time data collected by the Mojix Star system and analyzed by the InSync application framework to enable a new level of business intelligence for tradeshow and event stakeholders including venue owners, event organizers, exhibitors and attendees.

"This is the first time an event is able to collect and analyze real-time data on activities in the educational session and on the exhibit hall floor," said Mark Roberti, founder and editor of RFID Journal. "The system will not only enable us to better manage the event, but will also provide a new level of data to exhibitors and a new level of service to attendees." SmartEvents utilizes RFID data to provide services targeted to the needs of event participants. The system automates lead capture, and improves targeted marketing and advertisement throughout an event, while providing the event attendee with timely and valuable information. Event attendees benefit from an interactive show experience while possessing the ability to request information be automatically delivered. This business intelligence solution provides insight to real-time traffic patterns and lead capture information that is used to convert leads to sales for exhibitors. Venue owners can track assets and reduce theft, while event owners can provide specific real-time data to sponsors.

The Mojix Star system is a UHF passive RFID system that brings precision, scalability and return-on-investment to radio frequency identification applications. The Mojix Star system uses digital signal processing and a new RFID systems architecture to deliver expanded utility and value to RFID deployments. The ability to read passive RFID tags over long range, determine tag location, and secure and authenticate tag data in one multi-faceted, multiple purpose system changes the economics of RFID. The Mojix system taps the performance features of active RFID with the more attractive economics of low cost passive RFID.
