Trilithic Trio Promoted as Yuletide Present

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

Wrapping up the year-end news for Trilithic, company officials reported promoting three executives just before Christmas, including Daniel Dillon, named director of product marketing for mobile systems applications within the company's Broadband Instruments Division.

Dillon will be responsible for the product development and marketing of all mobile devices and software for the Broadband Instruments group, company officials said, noting that Dillon joined Trilithic in 2006 as a technical writer.

Mark Darragh, who joined the company in 2007 as an applications engineer, was promoted to product manager for Trilithic's Leakage Systems in the Broadband Instruments Group. In that position he’ll concentrate on developing Trilithic's leakage product portfolio, described by Terry Bush, president of Trilithic, as “a key position in listening to our customers’ needs and developing new technology."

John Bush, meanwhile, was named senior systems sales engineer within the Broadband Instruments group to work directly with customers at the senior level and bringing their ideas to fruition. "As customers look for more and more ways to integrate information, it is key that all systems integrate with customer-owned data,” Bush said, adding that the integration of multiple system-style platforms will be key in showing our customers intelligent analytical data for an in-depth view of the multitude of problems they face on their network.

A couple weeks ago TMC’s (News - Alert) Susan J. Campbell wrote that as communication is often the basis for business success, demanding all communication equipment is at optimal performance capacity at all times. “With Trilithic wireless backhaul equipment, you can be sure your equipment is protected from harsh environments and wide temperature ranges.”

Trilithic offers a full line of miniature filters designed into communication applications where size is a critical element. Most of Trilithic’s miniature packages are PC Mount or Surface Mount, while a few offer support for SMA (News - Alert) connectors. These filters offer significant performance in the smallest package profile to survive the elements and offer an economical choice in medium to high quantities.

The company’s Lumped Component filters are also designed to be relatively small and most packages can be connectorized or offer a PC mount. This filer type also offers quality performance in varying environments and proves to be cost effective in medium to high volumes.
