Axxcelera Receives FCC Certification for ExcelMAX WiMAX Solution

Axxcelera Broadband Wireless, Inc., has received FCC certification on the ExcelMAX WiMAX (News - Alert) solution, which is suitable for use within the full 50 MHz of the 3.65 GHz spectrum ranging from 3.650 to 3.700 GHz.

The company is a Moseley Wireless Solutions Group Company and a premier provider of broadband wireless communications products and technologies.

In a press release, Jerry Kollmann, senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer support for Axxcelera (News - Alert), stated, “FCC rules for the second 25MHz of spectrum are more complex than in the other 25MHz. Axxcelera’s ability to quickly adapt to these rules exemplifies our leadership in the WiMAX solutions industry.”

“Our FCC (News - Alert) compliant customers now have twice the spectrum to deploy the ExcelMAX solution to meet their business goals,” Kollmann emphasized.

Company sources added that support for the 50MHz FCC 3.65 GHz spectrum is provided via the “C10” variety of the ExcelMAX HDD/TDD CPEs and through the “C9E” variety of Access Points.

Also the full ExcelMAX product line comprises of the ExcelMAX Access Point, ExcelMAX FDD CPE, ExcelMAX HDD/TDD CPE, and ExcelMAX Indoor CPE. These units are currently available and shipping has already begun for both the FCC and non-FCC jurisdictions worldwide, confirmed officials.

Axxcelera Broadband (News - Alert) Wireless is a data networking company that specializes in technology development to facilitate deployment of broadband wireless communications solutions. The company’s fixed wireless broadband platforms bridge the last mile, replacing the local loop for residential, corporate branch office and small business subscribers.
