The global WiMAX (News - Alert) equipment market will grow to $6.9 billion in 2014. Investment in unlicensed WiMAX spectrum will be one of the key factors contributing to this market growth, according to market intelligence firm Infiniti Research 's report “Global WiMAX Equipment Market 2010-2014.”

Key WiMAX equipment vendors dominating this market space include Alvarion, Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert), Motorola, Huawei and Samsung.

The research agency prepared the report based on an in-depth analysis of the market with inputs from industry experts. The report focuses on Americas, APAC and EMEA and covers the present market and the future growth of the global WiMAX equipment market.

The report tried to address the market size in 2014 and growth rate, key trends, market drivers, challenging in the marketplace, opportunities for key vendors, and the strengths and weaknesses of each of these key vendors.

MarketResearch.com added TechNavio's Global Wi-MAX Equipment Market 2010-2014 to their collection of Broadband market reports.
