Companies’ officials said that the interoperability testing between EliteAAA and Mformation’s device management server included the successful execution of a wide range of test cases.
These cases included online/offline device activation, multiple devices under one subscription, change of subscription information, replacement of device, addition to blacklist, batch provisioning via UI and firmware update.
“The combination of Mformation’s market-leading device management capabilities with Elitecore’s AAA solution is critical to successfully activating, provisioning and managing the wide array of devices that will be connected to WiMAX networks,” said Rakesh Kushwaha, chief technology officer and co-founder of Mformation Technologies.
With Mformation’s OMA DM-based advanced device management server, mobile operators and service providers can remotely activate, configure, diagnose, update, secure and manage WiMAX-capable devices through all phases of their lifecycle. Company officials said that this ensures a seamless service experience for WiMAX customers.
Compliant with the WiMAX Forum standard NWG, EliteAAA WiMAX solution provides extensive mobile WiMAX support such as device authentication and mobile IP. Moreover it features support for RADIUS and Diameter, and also a broad set of authentication protocols.
EliteAAA supports the intelligence and performance to manage mobility and roaming in WiMAX networks, and also enhances service provider’s competitive strength, sitting at the core of service enablement, according to company officials.
“With a growing number of devices requiring authentication in the mobile WiMAX ecosystem, the authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) function plays a central role in the WiMAX network for device authentication & subscriber management,” noted Dhaval Vora, assistant vice president for Telecom Solutions Group at Elitecore Technologies (
