Bridgewater Systems officials are now emphasizing the professional services they offer to customers. The company offers comprehensive consulting, planning, implementation, and management services for what company officials say is "every stage of network development." Company officials say Bridgewater Systems (News - Alert) partners can extend their existing integration and support services with " a new suite of service offerings provided through the Bridgewater Professional Services team." Consulting services, they explain, "assist in filling the gaps in existing IP services and product strategy, or help develop a new mobile data strategy. Bridgewater offers expert analysis to assist in defining requirements, gap analysis, solution selection and implementation, and business process re-engineering and integration."

They also offer project management services, for "proper planning and execution of mission-critical projects by overseeing project scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, resources, procurement, and risk. Bridgewater also offers a rapid deployment team, created to help service providers accelerate deployment of IP services, with specialized training, installation, interface development, and prototype support.

Last summer TMC's (News - Alert) Anil Sharma wrote that Bridgewater joined the Cisco (News - Alert) Developer Network as a preferred developer within the mobile packet core technology category. Officials with Cisco said that the Cisco Developer Network "unites the company with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers."

Company officials said that Bridgewater Systems has worked closely with Cisco to deliver enhanced tools that deliver greater interoperability with Cisco networking solutions. Bridgewater Systems also shares Cisco’s strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction, has completed interoperability verification testing based on criteria set forth by Cisco, and can provide their customers 24-7 customer support.

Bridgewater officials said that with offerings such as the Bridgewater Home Subscriber Server and policy controller, customers can more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices, or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance, and management of their Cisco network.
