Elitecore Technologies, a provider of business support system and core network session control software, has introduced a wireless pre-pay broadband service for Augere on Elitecore Platform.

The rollout was performed using Elitecore’s CRESTEL WiMAX (News - Alert) CSN and EliteAAA systems, company officials said.

Augere is a provider of wireless broadband over WiMAX across emerging markets in APAC.

With this high-speed wireless broadband rollout, Augere plans to provide next-generation services to their subscribers. The service allows customers to surf the Internet as much or as little as they want on a pay-as-you-go basis, without the need to commit to long-term contracts, company officials added.

“An integrated billing and subscriber management for pre-paid and post-paid billing indeed streamlines and simplifies service management,” said Dhaval Vora, AVP of Presales and Solutions for Elitecore Technologies (News - Alert), in a statement.

“Our solutions have ensured subscriber management for different service levels by supporting varied instances of Bandwidth, QoS and concurrent sessions,” Vora added. “Moreover, real-time session management facilitates desired accuracy in mobility, roaming, security and usage tracking.”

Elitecore serves global clients, with significant deployments with leading telecom operators in the region. The company offers an integrated WiMAX CSN Platform with AAA, Policy Manager, BSS, Customer care, Rating & Charging, enabling faster rollout and flexibility in selecting the complete solution or just components.

Back in July, TMCnet reported that Mformation Technologies and Elitecore Technologies successfully completed the interoperability testing of Elitecore’s EliteAAA with Mformation’s (News - Alert) OMA DM-based advanced device management.
