Ltd. and he is responsible for the marketing and product management for Huawei Core Network solutions such as IMS, CDN, EPC, and MBB. Prior to Huawei, Shahbaz was a senior member of Architecture and Requirement team at Alcatel-Lucent and he contributed for defining the architecture and requirements for the IPTV services. Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, Shahbaz served as manager of system engineering for access products at Samsung Telecommunications. He also worked at Fujitsu Network Communications as Distinguished Product Planner responsible for planning of access products and SONET products. Stephen Collins has three decades experience successfully bringing to market innovative, technology-driven products, including extensive experience in early stage company environments, delivering leading edge products into rapidly growing, emerging markets.He began his career in 1981 as a member of technical staff at pre-divestiture AT&T Bell Labs, then worked with early Internet routers at BBN Communications and in 1986 was a founding engineer at Wellfleet Communications, where he served in technical and business positions of increasing responsibility for almost ten years.In 1998 Stephen co-founded Spring Tide Networks, where he served as vice president of marketing and business development until the companys acquisition by Lucent Technologies. He has held executive marketing and business development roles with other communications infrastructure companies including StarBurst Communications, Sonus Networks, ThinkEngine Networks and Tatara Systems. Stephen has also served as an advisor and consultant to a number of early stage companies and their investors. In this position, Trey acted as regulatory counsel in major rulemaking proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, and cases before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the National Telecommunications and Information Administration of the Department of Commerce, the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, Congress, and federal courts.Prior to working for Sprint Nextel, Trey held various policy-making positions at the FCC, including working on numerous satellite and international telecom matters in the International Bureau. He also served as Special Counsel in the Office of General Counsel, where he was responsible for providing policy and legal advice to the Office of Chairman on wireless issues.Trey is a Co-Chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association’s FCC Wireless Practice Committee.
