CompanionLink Announces Two-Way Sync with Nexus S

CompanionLink Software, a provider of mobile sync solutions for Google Android devices, announced two-way sync with Nexus S.

CompanionLink now synchronizes contacts, calendar, tasks and notes between the Nexus S and PC software such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Business Contact Manager, Sage ACT!, IBM Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise, and Palm Desktop.

According to a release, CompanionLink offers four ways to sync with Nexus S. First, direct USB Sync provides a fast and secure method to sync Outlook with the Nexus S.

The companies note that this method ensures maximum data security because it does not use a cloud-based service to store or exchange data. The second method includes synchronizing Outlook to Nexus S using a home or office WiFi network through a local WiFi Sync.

This second method is set to attract customers as it offers a secure wireless sync with no monthly fees. Sync via Google transfers Outlook contacts and calendar to any Google, Gmail, or Google Apps account and CL Secure Hosted Sync wireless subscription service that provides secure and automatic sync of Outlook to the Nexus S.

Customers can purchase CompanionLink’s sync solutions for Nexus S for a one-time cost starting at $39.95. If you want to try before investing you can go for a 14-day trial of the software that is available at the company website.

CompanionLink Software develops data synchronization solutions for mobile phones and CRM software and services. It is also an OEM synchronization and solutions provider for companies like Sage Software, NVIDIA, Google, Commence Corporation, and Royal Consumer Electronic Products.
