Moog Videolarm Selects Nexaira for 4G Video Surveillance Connectivity

Moog Videolarm, a subsidiary of Moog Inc. and a designer and manufacturer of surveillance products, has selected Nexaira Wireless Inc. for 4G video surveillance connectivity.

As part of the pact, Moog Videolarm will exclusively use Nexaira routers in its “Liberty” line of 4G-enabled camera systems.

Officials with Nexaira claimed that its M2M Router has been chosen for its best-in-class functions and flexibility to integrate seamlessly with video surveillance products.

Thanks to Nexaira’s solutions, Moog Videolarm would now be able to deliver an always-on, high-speed wireless solution without having to deal with the constraints of a wired network connection.

The Moog Videolarm wireless IP Camera solution supports either a secure public Internet or corporate Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.

“This agreement validates the superior features and flexibility of Nexaira’s M2M technology,” said Bob Young, EVP business development for Nexaira, Inc., in a statement.

“We are pleased that our routing platform surpassed the stringent functional requirements demanded by Moog Videolarm, one of the world’s premier suppliers of high-quality, innovative surveillance products,” said Young.

“Moog Videolarm’s target markets include service providers and OEM camera companies worldwide that strive to provide always-on, fully-networked camera surveillance systems. Nexaira’s 2400M offers Moog Videolarm the flexibility to utilize multiple carriers regardless of location,” he said.

“As pioneers in the 4G surveillance technology space, we chose Nexaira’s M2M platform to provide our camera systems and enclosures with the best performing solution available. Nexaira’s extremely fast data speeds, advanced business class features and easy-to-use interface fit our application needs very well,” said Christopher Lindenau, director of business development for Moog Videolarm.

“While speed and security were critical in our decision to select Nexaira, the flexibility of its software to integrate with our solution was superior to any other wireless technology available and made the difference in the end,” said Lindenau.

MobilityTechzone in June 2010 reported that Nexaira Wireless has signed a Value Added Reseller (VAR) Agreement with Premier Wireless Solutions, a wireless distributor of value-added services such as integration, certification, and cellular data plans for major carriers and MVNOs in the M2M Wireless Market.
