Sprint Launches Redesigned 4G Website

American 4G wireless carrier Sprint Nextel has redesigned its 4G website to make consumers feel at ease when choosing 4G products and services.

The newly-launched redesigned website has educational video clips and offers automated schematics of 4G applications for business.

In addition, there are case studies demonstrating how other businesses are utilizing 4G today and suggestions as to which service suits individual needs.

Also available is information on Sprint’s 4G-enabled cities, an interactive 4G coverage map, accessories for 4G devices and more.

“The site is now a one stop information center where customers can get all the information available on our robust portfolio of 4G devices, overall market coverage and the high value that Sprint 4G provides versus what competitors offer,” said Tom Roberts, vice president of business marketing, Sprint.

The site also offers personalization tools, allowing users to sign up to receive additional information or updates via email or to share the site directly through social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter. There is also a resource center featuring White Papers that highlight the intricacies of the Sprint 4G network for IT decision makers or those seeking in-depth knowledge of Sprint 4G.

“Our goal was to create one central location that contained all of the necessary resources for consumers and businesses related to Sprint 4G,” Roberts added.

The redesigned site includes links to other areas of interest and synergy on sprint.com, such as Machine to Machine (M2M) or Sprint Global Wholesale Solutions.

Sprint Nextel served more than 49.9 million customers at the end of 2010. Newsweek ranked Sprint No. 6 in its 2010 Green Rankings, listing it as one of the nation’s greenest companies.

Sprint 4G is available today in 71 markets1 across the United States, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
