Huawei's MediaPad Delivers Premium User Experience over AT&T's 4G Network

A new Android powered MediaPad from Huawei will now be available to customers of AT&T. Designed to address the needs of both enterprise customers and consumers of AT&T which include video viewing and web browsing, the portable tablet is expected to be available from February 3.

Huawei’s MediaPad is a full featured and affordably priced tablet delivering premium user experience. The tablet supports the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and has been designed with a seven-inch IPS multi-touch display.

In a release, Cui Jiangao, President of Huawei Device USA, said, "We're committed to working with AT&T to create influential devices that will provide consumers the best experience on AT&T's networks.”

Specifications and highlighting features of MediaPad include 7.61" x 4.71" x .41" dimensions at 14.08oz, 1080p HD video recording and playback capability along with a 1.2 Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a seven-inch IPS multi-touch display providing a 1280x800 resolution for extended clarity. The device runs on the Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) operating system and comes with a 5MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-facing camera with 4X zoom and AF in addition to being Wi-Fi enabled via AT&T Hotspots.
