Elevate Proceeds 4G Amendments with Sprint

Elevate, a provider of data, voice, video, mobile and security solutions in 22 major markets, is out to change broadband services radically. The company further strengthened its relationship with Sprint by expanding its MVNO contract with the company. This will allow Elevate to now offer mobile voice and data services to consumers and businesses using Sprint’s 4G wireless networks.

Velocity Internet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elevate, Inc. is the contracting party.

Elevate’s original contract with Sprint allowed the company to evolve its product offering and address a significantly larger market. The company signed this contract early in December 2011 which helped it to offer wireless over the Sprint 3G Network that reaches to nearly 282 million consumers.

“Now, with Sprint's 4G infrastructure behind us, we are the only company able to sell every product in our Stack - voice, video, data, and home automation - to virtually every major population center in the country, with or without a phone line,” Wright Thurston, chief executive officer at Elevate said in a statement.

As indicated, the 4G amendments will allow Elevate to expand its portfolio of services to include fixed and mobile broadband delivery, significantly enhancing Elevate's suite of services for 120 million consumers in 71 markets across the U.S. Also, similar to the original agreement, Elevate can continue to offer its new 4G (WiMAX) fixed and mobile broadband services on both a prepaid and postpaid basis.

“Prepaid plans are popular among consumers who are looking for a specific value or service. Elevate customer loyalty is a function of our personal delivery model and stable infrastructure, not our long-term contracts. Our customers stay with us because we create long-term relationships with them that constantly provide value,” commented Bryan Ferre, chief marketing officer at Elevate.

In other news, Elevate recently announced the appointment of Donald Sutherland to its Advisory Board.
