Paul Hastings Selects Xirrus Wireless Networks for Global Offices

Paul Hastings Law Firm selected Xirrus to install high-performance wireless networks in its offices around the globe, recognizing the need for reliable wireless for both employees and clients at all 18 of their offices.

"As a leading international law firm, we have the global reach and extensive capabilities to provide personalized service wherever and whatever our clients' diverse needs may be," Searl Tate, director of engineering at Paul Hastings, said in a press release. "As the number of devices connecting to our existing wireless infrastructure continued to rise, we realized it was time to implement a high-performance wireless solution. What really sold us was the speed to implement the Arrays and the Xirrus Management Solution that allows us to manage our entire network from one central point. With 18 offices across Asia, Europe and the U.S., that is no small feat."

There are many features to the Xirrus network, including a monitoring system and a scale to accommodate single-site and large scale deployments. The system is also available for installation via cloud-based or traditional software. Paul Hastings found that the installation required half the equipment compared to competitors.

This is just one of many ventures underway for Xirrus. The company announced in April that its XR-Series Wireless Arrays would be available to help meet high demands of Wi-Fi in harsh, outdoor conditions. The XR-Series is ideal for outdoor public areas, stadiums, warehouses and work sites.

Xirrus also announced a new partnership with Stoneware to introduce a new class management program to schools. LanSchool is the first network-based classroom management system that allows teachers to control data not only from computers, but mobile devices as well. This means that teachers can see anything happening on any device that is connected to the network. LanSchool assures that students are always working on what they should be.
