Mobily Gives MVNE Solution Contract to XIUS

Unless you live in Saudi Arabia, odds are you haven’t heard of Mobily, but they are one of the fastest growing telecommunications providers in the region. The growing company recently had a MVNE solution and services contract up for bid, and today that contract was awarded to XIUS.

XIUS is a "mobile technology specialist focused on real-time transaction processing," according to company officials.

Both sides seem optimistic about the arrangement and how it will benefit both organizations. The workers at XIUS are going to be using their existing mobile platform for their services infrastructure in order to create a specialized network for the targeted subscribers of the customers of Mobily, enhancing their services provided to the customers.

"We are very proud and excited to be working with Mobily on their foray into the MVNO market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," stated GV Kumar, Managing Director and CEO at XIUS. "As well, our Mobile Services Platform provides Mobily, and the MVNO it serves, with a flexible suite of network components, OSS/BSS, and VAS solutions that will be leveraged by the MVNO to offer distinct, separate and compellingly different subscriber offerings."

The same sentiment was echoed by Dr. Eyas Al-Hajery, Senior Executive VP for Wholesale and Carrier Services at Mobily, when he spoke to the same reporter. "We have chosen XIUS Mobile Services Platform after an exhaustive selection process that includes an extensive list of vendors," Al-Hejery said. “The platform will enable Mobily to provide carrier class comprehensive MNO/MVNE services to potential MVNOs."
