MobiCart, an m-commerce application development platform provider, announced it will be integrating the payment services of in-app payment processor, ZooZ, making it possible for mobile app developers to collect payments through credit cards and digital wallets. The mutually beneficial partnership will let Mobicart’s 10,000 merchants incorporate ZooZ’s advanced payment solution into their mobile apps created using MobiCart.
“The team at ZooZ has created a very distinctive mobile payments solution, and offers mobile credit card and eWallet technology that works hand-in-hand with our platform,” said Wladimir Baranoff-Rossine, founder and CEO of MobiCart. “We are very excited to be working with ZooZ in what we see as an industry-changing partnership. By offering an unparallel checkout experience, this partnership will allow our merchants to provide the best possible mobile commerce experience to their customers.”
Many companies have been looking for an outlet to expand their mobile payment solutions, especially since the revenue is projected to reach over $40 billion in the next four years, according to ABI Research. MobiCart’s development platform combined with ZooZ’s in-app payment functionality will not only help sell digital content, but will help merchants who sell physical goods, expand their customer base and market their products. However, not all payment solutions are created equal.
ZooZ CEO, Oren Levy said that users still feel uneasy about making mobile payments. “Despite the fact that there’s a lot of m-commerce going on, there’s a lack of uniformity in checkout schemes,” said Levy. “Each app creates its own checkout, its own colors and you don’t know how secure it is.” Levy said his company, which is currently located in Israel, is trying to bring the same level of security that users feel when making purchases online through their desktop and this partnership is just another step forward.
“MobiCart’s decision to select and provide our solution to its thousands of registered users is a big endorsement of our technology approach and vision to standardize the mobile payment experience for consumers,” said Levy. “This partnership also gives a major boost to merchants wanting an end-to-end solution for mobile apps.”
