United Wireless and TNS Telecommunications Services Team Up for Better Roaming

The odds are good that unless you live in the state of Kansas, you don't know the name United Wireless. The company is a provider of wireless services in the region. The company is hoping to get a boost of speed from a new deal that it has made with TNS Telecommunications Services. The deal will help the company increase its roaming and data capabilities for mobile users.

How does TNS feel about the deal? Well, Dan Dooley, president of TNS’ Telecommunications Services Division seemed to be pretty excited about the new deal. He emphasized the fact that the new service being offered by the company is part of a long line of strategic partnerships made by the company in order to give its customers, meaning regional wireless operators, the best in the ways of wireless service, services that will change with their needs.

He even said the following about the new arrangement in the release, “Deploying the TNS roaming suite allows United Wireless to enhance their business and gives TNS the opportunity to cooperate closely with a progressive regional provider. TNS has been delivering cost-effective roaming solutions to the telecom industry for more than 15 years. We strive to offer complete solutions, while at the same time, simplifying an operator’s business and ensuring interoperability. We look forward to a long working relationship with United Wireless.”

As for United Wireless they also seem to be very happy with what they are getting from the partnership. Just ask Mike Laskowsky, a Wireless Network manager from United Wireless, who said the following about the pairing in the same release, “We’re very pleased to be working with TNS... United Wireless was searching for not just the right platform to develop our customer proposition, but also a strategic partnership with the likes of an experienced player like TNS.” The company seems to feel that partnering with larger organizations will give it the flexibility it needs to provide enhanced services without the extra costs of building more infrastructures or hiring on workers.
