Motorola Mobility Takes Battery Life, Screen Size to the Edge

At a recent press event today in New York City, Google-owned manufacturer, Motorola Z, gave the public its first official look at the Droid RAZR HD.

Speed, power, design and exhilarating new Android experiences are on offer from Motorola Mobility, with three new additions to its RAZR smartphone family: Motorola RAZR M, the full-screen phone; RAZR HD, with infinite entertainment options; and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD, with incredibly long-lasting battery.

These three Android-powered smartphones are made from the best materials, and are compact in size with battery life that defies imagination.

State-of-the-art technology has enabled Motorola RAZR M to give customers what they always wanted – a bigger screen space that can also fit into the palm of their hands. Motorola has achieved the impossible with the Super AMOLED Advanced 4.3-inch display screen (edge to edge), fulfilling their customers’ dreams of a smaller, sleeker phone along with a larger screen size that is 40 percent larger than its nearest competitor.

Needless to say, a wider keyboard facilitates faster typing emails and texts. And watching YouTube videos and movies on a wider screen or browsing the Web with Chrome for Android can be achieved easily. The interactive, swipe-by-swipe tutorials that help you negotiate the setup without an instruction manual makes the Motorola RAZR M phone a cinch, even for the most technically challenged.

A longer-lasting battery, 40 percent more powerful than the competition, delivers an amazing smartphone experience. Motorola RAZR M will soon make its presence felt in several Asian Pacific countries.

For customers in the U.S., the product is coming to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network as DROID RAZR M by Motorola, for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement.

The new Motorola RAZR HD, with its 4.7-inch HD display, is the most compact smartphone in the industry to date, specially crafted for viewing up to ten hours of movies or TV shows or six hours of surfing in cyberspace. This smartphone provides the sharp clarity similar to a HDTV and has 85 percent greater color saturation and 50 percent more pixels per inch.

If you’re planning a long drive, you can now do so with renewed confidence because you get up to 6 hours of voice-guided turn by turn GPS navigation all on a single charge.

Available in the sophisticated and sleek black and flawless white colors, the Motorola RAZR HD will be coming soon to consumers throughout Asia Pacific, Europe, North America and Latin America.  For customers in the U.S., the smartphone will be available before the holidays on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network as DROID RAZR HD by Motorola.

The DROID RAZR MAXX HD has incorporated all the features as the Motorola RAZR HD, but it is the battery life that has been taken to stratospheric heights. This device is another ball game altogether with 32 hours of performance with the longest-lasting LTE smartphone.

These new smartphones are made from the premium design materials you expect from the Motorola RAZR family, including a Corning Gorilla Glass display, DuPont KEVLAR fiber and a splash-guard coating. They're also built with the best of Google inside – Chrome for Android, providing you with a personalized Web experience anywhere you go.

Furthermore, Google Play offers access to 600,000+ apps and games, millions of books and song, thousands of movies and TV shows. This accompanies Google Maps, Voice Actions for Android, Google+ and YouTube and the Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, upgradeable operating systems.

These new smartphones from Motorola - RAZR M, RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD further revs the intensely competitive business of smartphones, and provides gadget freaks with exciting new options.
