Marvell, One of the First to Get a Crack at Miracast Wi-Fi Solution

Marvell has long been one of the worldwide leaders when it comes to finding a way to get the most out of the integration of wireless audio and video technology. Now, the company has announced that it is getting ready to implement the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast across its entire lineup of mobile, wireless and video solutions. This implementation means that customers of Marvell can get high definition on any size screen to anywhere across the globe.

Miracast was developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance and allows users to wirelessly share audio and video  from one device to another easily. The solution also allows people to watch and play games and mobile content from mobile devices to the television in a person’s living room with ease. Marvell is fast becoming the company to look toward for this solution because it offers support for the technology across a huge variety of different mobile devices.

Part of the reason that Marvell is one of the first companies to be able to use this particular technology is because it was just accepted into the Wi-Fi Alliance and it is being allowed to participate in the Miracast “test bed.” 

The companies that get to participate in this program are the ones who will get to truly put the new Miracast solution through its paces. Testing like this will allow the Wi-Fi Alliance to improve the solution down the line and make it as efficient as possible for its users.
