As mentioned above, iTalk differs from big named competing portfolio such as AT&T and Verizon because it doesn’t require users to sign a long term contract. With its recent offering, it retains its competitive edge for the unforeseeable future due to the fact that it transitions any iPod touch into a smartphone in three simple steps. First, you have to purchase both the iTalk sleeve and data plan. Next, you activate the service and then insert the iPod into the iTalk Sleeve. And last but definitely not least, users must download and install the iTalk app to get it up and running.

Company officials added, “The iTalk iPhone Edition is a SIP-based phone for Apple iPod Touch, iPhone and the iPad that uses the iTalk cellular data network or Wi-Fi or connection to make and receive calls. Using the iPod touch, iPhone or iPads existing contact list will facilitate easy and effective communication management with an intuitive interface that accommodates multiple calls. Call functionality includes the ability to swap between two calls, merge and split calls and perform attended and unattended transfers.”
