BoxTone to Support Blackberry 10

BoxTone, a global Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Software and Services provider, revealed that its Mobile Service Management support is now available for Blackberry 10 and Blackberry Enterprise Service 10.

"BoxTone has a long tradition of supporting the BlackBerry platform and delivering value-added Mobile Service Management solutions to complement BlackBerry's strong security and management for enterprise mobility," said Alan Snyder, CEO of BoxTone. "Enterprise Mobility Management is essential for any organization mobilizing their workforce."

BoxTone for BlackBerry addresses three critical Mobile Service Management features, the first being real-time performance monitoring of all mobile connections, predictive analytics and proactive alerting of emerging issues.

Second, it offers dashboards, consoles and reports for operations teams with end-to-end status of service across all mobile devices, carriers and network infrastructure for real-time visibility and control.

Third, it provides consoles for service desk teams to support fast first call resolution and automated diagnostics, embedded expert knowledgebase and "click-to-fix" actions in order to shorten mean time to repair (MTTR).

"BoxTone is a long-standing partner of BlackBerry and an established leader in providing Mobile Service Management solutions," said Steve Clarey, director of enterprise alliances at BlackBerry. "BoxTone works together with BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 to enhance Service Quality Management by providing automated proactive monitoring, which can increase the responsiveness of an organization's IT service desk."

BoxTone's Enterprise Mobility Management enables organizations to monitor and support their end-to-end mobile environment while also supporting user demands and reliability for wide-scale, mission-critical mobile deployments.

BoxTone’s platform of enterprise-grade, plug-and-play software modules is used by enterprises, public sector, and managed service providers (MSPs) on all their mobile devices – i.e. iPhone, Pad, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone – while continuously maintaining optimal services levels, at the lowest cost and risk.

BoxTone’s announcement was made at the 2013 Blackberry Live event in Orlando, Fla.
