Cbeyond Adds New iPhone to Support Stable

Most companies of this era are moving or have moved towards Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies. The days of a firm offering up a “company phone” are largely gone thanks to the massive number of different smartphones that are out there on the market. Making sure that the different smartphones employees of small and medium size businesses (SMBs) use are all secure, can cause the average IT professional to go prematurely grey. Cbeyond is one company that specializes in making sure that a wide variety of smartphones are safe and secure. The company recently announced that the two newest smartphones will be included in its security suite in the very near future.

Apple rolled out the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C earlier this fall. Now, Cbeyond has said the phones will be covered under their suite beginning on November 8. By adding these two phones to the stable of devices that Cbeyond can help protect, the company seems to understand just how many different devices the average SMB employee has to choose from.

Some companies are starting to have their employees spend more and more time away from the office. Despite that time away, there are still sensitive materials looked at and sent to their various phones. The sheer number of different devices they would have to monitor can overwhelm in house IT departments.

Cbeyond can help SMBs in a variety of different ways that will all work to take the load off of IT professionals. If a company simply doesn’t believe that they can afford an IT department, then the company can actually serve as an offsite employee. The firm deals in cloud services, mobile phones and applications and VoIP services. The firm’s security software is especially important when it comes to VoIP and mobile phone services. A company’s broadband Internet can also be protected using the firm’s security suite.

Included in that suite are private firewalls for dedicated servers. The firm also offers up hosted Microsoft Exchange for an in house email service. Thanks to the company adding support for the Galaxy S III LTE, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C Cbeyond is staying ahead of the curve in today’s business world.
