ARM Partners With Telenor Connexion To Bring the Internet of Things To Global Customers

In a new agreement, Telenor Connexion has licensed ARM Sensinode software. This new partnership will make Telenor Connexion the first business solutions provider to offer global customers end-to-end ARM Internet of Things. Telenor Connexion is an enabler of connected business solutions. ARM is semiconductor IP supplier. ARM Sensinode software will give Telenor Connexion the ability to provide standards-based, energy-efficient and secure machine-to-machine services that will reduce time to market for smart products.


Currently Telenor Connexion serves its customers in the telematics, asset management, mHealth, and advanced meter infrastructure segments on three continents. With the addition of ARM Sensinode software Telenor Connexion's will offer a new IoT-focused value added services, including data management and data security. The systems initial focus is on cellular-connected endpoints. By implementing ARM’s IP technology Telenor Connexion plans to expand its portfolio of standards-based products and support IoT applications. Telenor Connexion will use ARM’s Sensinode technology to develop connected business solutions that include key standards such as OMA Lightweight M2M, IPv6, TLS, DTLS, and CoAP.
