CoreDial Adds BroadSoft Integration

Cloud communications software provider CoreDial just announced its plans to integrate BroadSoft’s BroadWorks softswitch with its SwitchConnex software platform. This integration is good news for service providers who will be able to distribute the BroadWorks softswitch features to customers.

For channel partners leveraging SwitchConnex, this means a better ability to manage multiple call control systems from one solution, offering all of the benefits of a unified communications system, giving their customers the most up to date features.

“Once the integration to BroadWorks is complete, our Service Provider Partners will have immediate access to the best commercial and open-source softswitches on the market today – a very powerful combination,” said CoreDial CEO Alan Rihm in a statement. “Our software customers and channel partners will have unparalleled access to multiple softswitches, all through a single intuitive web interface. Users of the company’s software are able to brand, co-brand, or private label high value end-customer cloud and Unified Communication services, while building margin rich recurring revenues. Our customers have an unfair advantage in the market, and we plan to keep it that way.”

Channel partners can now offer value managed services such as Hosted PBX, Hosted VoIP, SIP Trunking, and Unified Communications.

Today, Alan Rihm will be speaking at ITEXPO East during a session titled, “Service Differentiation: The Key to Profit,” from 12:30-1:15pm EST. On the heels of this announcement, the session will cover more specifically how service providers can collect information and use the latest technologies to stand out above the competition. From service bundles, to security features, managed offerings, and partnerships, service providers can take advantage of these offerings available to create unmatched services for their customers.

Also from ITEXPO East this week, BroadSoft’s Micaela Giuhat will be speaking at a session on Friday, January 31 at 11:00am. The session, “The Modern Workplace – Putting Enterprise Apps in Your Pocket,” will discuss how enterprises can utilize enterprise over the top (OTT) and cloud-based solutions and apps for the mobile workforce, keeping employees productive and on the grid no matter where they are.

Mobile devices have flooded the market so it behooves organizations to keep up, especially as businesses look to decrease costs, stay in touch with their mobile workforce and improve overall efficiency.

These services offer the potential mobile productivity, and it benefits service providers to attract and retain customers with these available technologies in 2014.
