Comings & Goings: OpenPeak Appoints Former AT&T Executive Chris Hill as President

OpenPeak Inc. is one of the nation's premier enterprise mobile device and application management providers, and this week the company announced they were welcoming Christopher K. Hill as OpenPeak's new president. Hill was formerly AT&T's senior vice president of advanced solutions, but will now be reporting directly to OpenPeak's Chairman and CEO, Dan Gittleman.

Gittleman was excited to add Mr. Hill to the OpenPeak family and praised his past successes, noting that “Chris' exceptional leadership and deep expertise in the enterprise mobility space makes him an outstanding addition to our team in this vital role at such a critical time in OpenPeak's growth.” The growth he is referring to is part of OpenPeak's strategic plan for dynamic and rapid expansion, which Hill will be overseeing. “I'm thrilled to have him on board and look forward to tapping into his strategic vision and proven ability to take OpenPeak to the next level,” continued Gittleman.

For the company's strategic growth plan, Hill will oversee product and operational excellence, and will be the man in charge of identifying and capitalizing on new development opportunities around the world. This is in line with Hill's past experiences with AT&T, where over the last 17 years he served in critical roles for building and deploying the company's mobility solutions for businesses and enterprises. He has specific experience from AT&T overseeing markets that are expected to expand quickly, including Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and fixed mobile convergence (FMC) solutions.

Hill appears to be already enjoying his new position with OpenPeak, stating he is “honored and excited to be a part of this innovative environment that is shaping the mobile enterprise management landscape, and truly mobilizing today's workforce.” Hill cited that he has been impressed by OpenPeak's ability to provide secure workspaces on mobile networks with their groundbreaking technology, which was a large factor in his decision to join the company. He commented that he “look[s] forward to contributing to OpenPeak's continued success, vision for the future, and next stage of accelerated growth.”
