SURE Launches WM+ Edition Exclusively for WiMAX Operators

The WiMAX Forum was established back in June 2001 as a not-for-profit industry group that certifies and promotes the compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products; based upon the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Standard 802.16e. The primary goal of the organization is to encourage the adoption, deployment and extension of WiMAX technologies around the world. The latest company to adopted and integrate the platform into its solution is Magnaquest Technologies with the launch of its SURE! WiMAX CSN Solution exclusively for WiMAX Operators.

The SURE! WiMAX CSN Solution is a convergent solution designed with the WiMAX principles in mind by making the platform future ready and able to support next generation services. This includes IPTV, VoIP, wireless broadband, on demand services, VAS services and wholesale multisite WiMAX deployments.

The SURE! Joining the WiMAX Forum has allowed Magnaquest Technologies to have SURE! WM+ enter the marketplace quickly. The adoption of the WiMAX technology by operators across the world makes it possible for organizations in the forum to introduce products that have been certified and are interoperable to support broadband fixed, nomadic, portable and mobile services. The WiMAX Forum Certified systems meet customer and government requirements.
