Kaipac InterOp Exchange Launches to Provide Network Operations Intelligence

PCIA - The Wireless Infrastructure Association is an American trade association for wireless providers and companies that build cellphone towers, rooftop wireless sites, as well as other facilities that transmit wireless communication signals. These technologies are collectively referred to as wireless telecommunications infrastructure.

It was at this year’s PCIA Wireless Infrastructure Show 2015 that two experienced experts in the wireless industry announced the formation of a new specialty services company called Kaipac. The new company was created by Jeff Pokonosky, a former Qualcomm executive and the founder of WiggleWireless, and Mickey Patton, the CEO of Clear C2.

The goal of Kaipac is to meet the critical needs of wireless network managers and field-service personnel who require actionable insight and Network Operations Intelligence (NOI) to optimize the health of a company’s network.

Pokonosky, who is Kaipac's CEO, said "We're closing a communications gap between manufacturers, vendors, operators and integrators. We accomplish that by offering a solution that provides secure access to the proper information set needed to cure network problems by fostering near real-time communications between all parties."

Kaipac's all-cloud-based InterOp Exchange (IOX) platform is designed to streamline data sharing and workforce-collaboration communications between network operators and their vendors. This enables them to share time sensitive, proprietary data related to network health and system optimization. When dealing with disparate networks it sometimes takes a while to resolve issues which can lead to extended costs, not to mention downtime.

Kaipac’s CEO continued to say "Today, fixed line and wireless operators work with many suppliers who deliver hardware, software and services that keep the networks running.  In too many situations, when a problem occurs in the field, the truck roll is the first action taken and it's an expensive one. Industry attention is on reducing capital expense. Yet, at the same time, we see costly communications delays between operators, integrators, services providers and vendors of disparate systems which directly impacts the bottom line. Kaipac's IOX solution provides everyone in the ecosystem the critical information they need to, more efficiently, maintain optimum network health."
