Good Technology, already one of the leaders in the secure mobility market, announced late last week that it had signed a “master distributor” agreement with Westcon Solutions. Under this particular agreement, Westcon will be looking to distribute Good Technology’s solutions in the key markets of Latin America. These markets include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
"We see exponential growth opportunities in South America and Mexico, as enterprises look to securely mobilize content and apps," said John Taylor, vice president Worldwide Channel at Good Technology in a recent statement. "Westcon is a valuable partner for Good Technology in Asia and we are excited to expand our relationship into Latin America with them as they enable their value-added resellers with the industry's broadest portfolio of enterprise mobility management solutions so they can rapidly realize additional revenue.”
Westcon has already been recognized the world over as a firm that offers IT security, network monitoring and optimization solutions. The company has long made its bones by working with other leading vendors that offer a wide range of innovative services that can range from marketing assistance to expert technical support. Teamed up with Good Technology, that has been working on leading a secure mobile platform for quite a while now. In fact, Good Technology has created content across a number of platforms and applications that now number more than 6,200. More than half of the companies that have worked with Good are Fortune 100 brands.
One of the reasons this particular company has seen so many different brands coming on board is because the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform works to integrate app containerization. The platform also works to bring a strong mobile device management solution as well as mobile application management. Basically this means that with minimal compromising when it comes to security and compliance needs, the firm can make sure that users are getting the right applications on the right mobile devices.
