Report: Wi-Fi Hotspot Market Set for Explosion

When it comes to Wi-Fi hotspots, there is very little doubt that companies dealing with the implementation of this technology are only expecting continued success. A new report by industry insiders MarketsandMarkets says that Wi-Fi Hotspot markets are going to grow to a mark where they equal more than $3 billion by the end of 2020. That number would mean that Wi-Fi hotspots market is growing at a CAGR of more than 17 percent.

Not only does the report talk about just how much the market is going to grow, it also detailed a number of factors that are leading to that growth. Among the top reasons this market is going to see that kind of explosion is because the evolution of the Wi-Fi Hotspot is also increasing. There are a number of different advances that are making this market grow at an impressive rate.

Part of the reason why Wi-Fi hotspots are getting more popular and the companies that deal with them more lucrative is because of the sheer demand; major cities across the United States are always looking for ways to get more hotspots installed. Quite a few of these cities are even ponying up the money in order to make sure their most trafficked parts of town are getting plenty of Wi-Fi coverage.

With cities making moves like this, the companies that deal in Wi-Fi hotpsots are seeing big contracts and that is, in turn, pushing them toward working faster and harder at innovation. These hotspots are now delivering stronger signals, as well as better coverage. All of these conditions can also be used when it comes to personal and consumer-based Wi-Fi networks.

The growth in the industry is covering a huge range of verticals. Everything from retail stores to hospitals are making sure they have the ability to offer Wi-Fi services. Some of the services are geared strictly toward making staff more efficient, while customers benefit from these services as well.
