Swrve Tops Mobile SDK Rankings

In the world of third-party software developer kits (SDKs), ease of use and comprehensive tools are the name of the game for app developers, who look to create compelling mobile apps at a reasonable cost.  But the bigger driver is whether or not consumers actually like the resulting product.

Independent data analytics firm MixRank took a look at which third-party SDKs integrated into apps were the highest-performing, and confirmed that mobile marketing automation platform Swrve outperforms the competition.

Swrve apps are rated 20 percent higher on the App Store and 7 percent higher on Google Play, relative to average store ratings, the ranking found.

Swrve provides a set of tools and approaches for mobile and digital marketers, including a range of features like push notifications, image-based in-app messages, interactive rich media messages and native content changes. It also allows for targeted segmentation on the advertising side, which can help ensure engagement.

MixRank aggregates data across the app ecosystem inclusive of which third party SDKs each app has integrated. The exercise uncovered that Swrve apps enjoy an average user rating of 4.55 on iOS, compared to the industry average of 3.79. And on the Google Play Store, Swrve apps have an average rating of 4.52, which is again a significant uplift on the industry average of 4.22.

“There’s a reason Swrve apps are rated so highly and enjoy much greater install rates,” said Steve Gershik, CMO of Swrve. “Our technology enables our customers to deliver outstanding personalized experiences and relevant campaigns, all within a single easy-to-use platform. This results in apps that users love—and keep using.”

Higher user ratings increase both visibility with a better chart rank and the chance the app is installed due to a higher rating, thus improving an app’s organic acquisition.
