Four of MobileIron's AppConnect Ecosystem Partners in Gartner's Leaders Quadrant

The ability to quickly develop applications that can be applied for specific projects or comprehensive organizational processes has introduced new level of efficiency in the IT department. Enterprises as well as SMB’s can now develop applications geared specifically for their company, customers or vendors. This is especially true when mobile devices are integrated into corporate IT infrastructure. As a provider of mobile enterprise security, MobileIron announced four of its AppConnect Ecosystem Partners were recognized by Gartner and positioned as leaders in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing (EFSS).

Accellion, Box, Citrix, and Syncplicity are the four AppConnect Partners that were placed in Gartner’s leaders quadrant. These companies have formed this partnership with MobileIron to design enterprise applications as well as a secure ecosystem in which to deliver them for organizations around the world.

They are able to provide a wide range of options so customers can choose the best content and tools to address their specific needs. While Accellion, Box, Citrix, and Syncplicity deliver the applications, MobileIron AppConnect provides the security framework IT needs.

With more organizations deploying BYOD initiatives, ensuring mobile devices are secure has become an important component in the adoption process.

"The integration between kiteworks by Accellion and MobileIron provides best-of-breed content security for information access and sharing on mobile devices. Accellion's leadership in private cloud deployment is particularly valuable to security conscious and highly regulated organizations and industries," said Vidhya Ranganathan, SVP of Products, Accellion

In the case of Box, the enterprise content collaboration software has been delivered to more than 45,000 businesses around the world. MobileIron has integrated with Box for Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) to simplify the collaborative process using any device while at the same time ensuring sensitive corporate data is protected.

As enterprise data moves to the cloud, employees are using mobile applications and devices to access these resources. MobileIron has designed a platform to deploy enterprise mobility services at scale while ensuring a robust security system. With more organizations becoming Mobile First, securing their apps, content and devices has become a priority.

The MobileIron EMM meets the demand of users by provisioning the apps and content they want, while maintaining privacy and data security. It also gives the IT department the ability to secure and manage devices, apps and content with more reliability. This allows enterprises to worry less about security, and introduce new products and services into the marketplace.

The AppConnect Ecosystem Partners along with MobileIron give enterprises a one-stop shop for acquiring application development and security.
