Announcing the 2011 Mobile Tech Zone LTE Visionary Awards from Mobility Tech Zone

Norwalk, CT (September 1, 2011) —TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person, and online, and Crossfire Media, a media company that builds communities, provides marketplace access, and disseminates information on the latest technology trends to communications and Internet professionals, today announced that applications are being accepted for the 2011 Mobility Tech Zone LTE Visionary Awards. Mobile Tech Zone is the mobile broadband industry’s information source for breaking news, analysis, product information, strategies and developments for mobility and communications professionals.

The 2011 Mobile Tech Zone LTE Visionary Award will be bestowed upon companies that have brought to market products and solutions enabling the delivery of 4G wireless broadband services.

The migration to LTE is something more than technological; it’s adaptive and inclusive of other environmental considerations. Dual Mode, Femtocells, Fixed Mobile Convergence and Unified Communications can all be a part of the move to LTE.

The key to the selection process will be identifying those long term evolution solutions that can fuel the progression to tomorrow’s mobile broadband wireless experience.

“Those companies which are making developments in advancing LTE technologies should get their applications in to make this influential list of achievers,” stated Carl Ford, co-founder and community developer, Crossfire.  “The winners will be the innovators to watch for the next evolution of solutions.”

“Wireless technologies are rapidly advancing. The LTE Visionary Award will take notice of the companies who have the vision to advance the future of mobile broadband,” said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO. “I encourage all forward thinking companies to nominate their advancements to receive consideration for this innovative award.”
