4G Fixed Business Access from Sprint Now Made Available to Wholesale Customers

Sprint Wholesale Solutions recently made an announcement on the availability of 4G Fixed Business Access. This is a solution that is business grade and gives the utmost availability besides secure connectivity. It allows for any space to be instantly changed into an office and allows enterprises remain online in the case of any wire line outages.

Sprint Wholesale MVNO customers will have the power, speed as well as flexibility of 4G Fixed Business Access. This helps them make full use of the faster and improved access as well heightened connectivity options all at for a reduction in costs for SMB customers.

With this, remote offices or tiny branches will enjoy the power as well as the security features that come as a part of a business-class router. They will also have the ease of a wireless Internet connection. All this is sans any on-site IT management. Sprint Wholesale MVNO customers will advice on policies of corporate security, failover technology as well as 3G/4G access almost any time. It will cost companies significantly lesser to provide a connection to the Internet for their remote and small offices.

In a release, Todd Rowley, vice president of 4G and Business Development at Sprint said, “With Sprint Wholesale Solutions' 4G Fixed Business Access, small business customers are no longer at the mercy of wire line installation waiting periods, service area limitations or the downtime of legacy wired networks. We are the first national wireless carrier in the U.S. to offer this solution to our wholesale customers, allowing them to embolden their customer base of SMB and home offices with data access at 4G speeds.”

Sprint's Wholesale Solutions Group has solutions that can be customized, including what is known as the Partner Interexchange Network. This helps customers connect online through on-net cheaper connectivity rates. One can also avail of Mobile Broadband on Demand where prepaid broadband services can be purchased for varying periods such as a day, week or even a month.

In other news, Sprint recently announced  that it is now the first domestic carrier to offer international WiMAX roaming access to 4G networks. As of today, customers who are traveling to Taiwan and Jamaica can connect to next-gen networks through two partner carriers: Digicel  and Global Mobile.
