Leap2 Navigator Announces New Mobile Search Browser for Smartphone Users

Leap2 Navigator, a mobile application development company, announced the availability of Leap2 Navigator, a mobile search browser, on the Apple iTunes App Store.

The mobile search browser is expected to change the way people retrieve information on mobile devices as users can leap directly to the answer. The Leap2 Navigator provides Web browsing, keyword navigation, and vertical category selection in a single interface. The Leap2 Navigator expands on the precision of search by showing the top websites results as live sites.

Leap2 Navigator mobile search browser is expected to lead the next major revolution in information navigation and real-time answer browsing, company officials said.

Key features of the Leap2 Navigator mobile search browser include search navigator for contextual, touch-based query selection, leap browsing, dynamic categories, Web authority previewing and integrated navigation.

“Industry experts told us it would not be possible to build a mobile search browser that would allow users to navigate websites in real-time,” said Michael Farmer, Leap2 CEO and co-founder, in a statement.

“The fact that Leap2 is possible today is a testament to the pace of converging innovations from wireless networks, mobile OS, wireless devices, and cloud computing. Leap2 Navigator literally puts the Internet into the hands of mobile users,” Farmer added.

The Leap2 Navigator mobile search browser application for iOS integrates a query navigator, an information category selector with real-time live website browsing.

Recently, Juniper Research said that the combination of the smartphone and the app stores created a market for mHealth apps which are forecast to reach 142 million downloads globally by 2016. Apps already cover a wide range of mHealth use cases, varying from medical calculators to monitoring software.
