Verizon Wireless Powers the New White DROID RAZR by Motorola

The DROID series of mobile phones by Motorola has always won the hearts of customers since its introduction, and the company is leaving no stone unturned in making the best out of the craze these devices have already managed to stoke within users.

Verizon Wireless, a provider of enhanced telecommunications services to its customers, has announced that the new DROID RAZR mobile phones by Motorola are available through its Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and through online purchase at its website.

Aiming to make the best out of the holiday shopping season, Motorola decided to launch its DROID RAZOR in White on December 15, 2011. Available at a price of $299.99, the advanced mobile phone in the new color brings in new two-year customer agreement along with every purchase. Apart from that, customers can grab a new DROID XYBOARD tablet device, a recently launched product by the company, at a discount of $100 along with the purchase of a white DROID RAZR as a part of a special promotion that has been introduced for a limited period.

A Nationwide Talk plan by Verizon Wireless is made available to the customers buying the new DROID RAZR at a beginning price of $39.99 monthly access, while they can also choose to get a smartphone data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data. 

Using the Motorola DROID RAZR, users can surf the web at high 4G LTE speeds provided by the Verizon Wireless network. Featuring a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, the mobile phone is just 7.1 mm thin and is equipped with a number of enhanced features such as MotoCast, remote wipe and PIN lock. To provide high levels of security to the users, it deploys government-grade encryption mechanism for email, calendar and contacts saved within the mobile phone memory. Recently this month, Verizon Wireless announced to expand the coverage of its 4G Long Term Evolution network in more areas of the San Francisco Bay Area to provide maximum customers with its 4G LTE services. Cities and towns in the expanded 4G coverage area include Berkeley Santa Cruz Concord, Lafayette Gilroy Hayward, Union City Antioch area Parts of San Jose, Santa Clara Parts of Highway 80 from Vallejo to Vacaville Parts of Highway 101 from Mill Valley to San Rafael Parts of Menlo Park and East Palo Alto.
