B2B Soft to Deliver Vendor Managed Inventory Solution to Wireless Retailers

B2B Soft, a provider of vertical business solutions for enhancing retail management for wireless/cellular retail customers, will offer wireless dealer customers of Wireless Xcessories Group, a nationwide manufacturer and provider of an extensive range of mobile phone and electronic device accessories, its Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system.

“The VMI is the perfect solution for wireless dealers who are constantly faced with rapid changes in products and services,” Gary Khabinski, B2B Soft CEO, said. “It eases the constraints of carrying excessive inventory and frees their time and resources, which is particularly important this time of year. WIRX, which supplies over 3,000 products, recognizes the value and importance that a strong VMI has for dealers by making Wireless Standard available to their customers. Wireless Standard allows them to handle every facet of their retail business, including inventory control, with ease and speed.”

The VMI system from B2B has been designed to enable remote management and automatic restocking of inventory which can bring about savings in both time and effort to wireless retailers. AS part of B2B Soft’s retail management platform, VMI makes it possible for retailers to free themselves from the time consuming task of dealing with ongoing inventory changes. At present, more than 4,000 wireless retail locations across the globe leverage the Wireless Standard which is a proven business solution within the cellular retail sector.

All the data pertaining to sales which is produced over the Wireless Standard platform from B2B is directly transferred to suppliers. This data can then be easily analyzed based on parameters such as in-store sales, inventory levels, and promotional offers among other such criteria. Purchase orders can be created automatically which makes it relatively easy to provision, replenish, and ship the inventory accordingly to retailers.

The VMI system reduces time consuming tasks and reduces costs for retailers as the need for inventory counts and working on buying estimates is effectively eliminated. Dealers are not required to carry huge shipments as dying inventory can be replaced with fresh stock automatically. Optimization of the supply chain further brings down inefficiencies within the inventory processes enabling a substantial cost reduction over lengthy stocking taking procedures.
