Samsung Telecommunications America recently announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 will now be available in the coming weeks on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is on display at CES 2012 in Verizon Wireless' booth as well as in the Samsung booth.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an exceptional super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display which means that users will now be able to watch movies, view pictures and play games that have exceptional clarity which is provided by the high-definition 720p (1280x800) resolution. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and HTML 5 Web browser which allows its users to gain easy access to the Internet, stream music and more as they will now be able to make full use of the high speeds provided by the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. Verizon Wireless is one of the leaders in 4G and claims to have the fastest and most reliable 4G network in the United States, covering more than 200 million people in 190 markets.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is less than half an inch thick, measuring just 7.9 millimeters, and weighs close to 340 grams. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features the Peel Smart Remote which enables users to find and watch their favorite TV shows as well as search for new shows based on their preferences by leveraging a built-in infrared blaster.
Users will also be able to have control over their home entertainment system by using the Peel Smart Remote regardless of manufacturer. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 will soon launch as a SAFE certified device. The SAFE certification will mean that the Tab 7.7 comes with an exclusive suite of security features that provide enterprise-friendly capabilities to protect sensitive data and communications such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), on-device Encryption, Virtual Private Network (VPN) and corporate email, calendar and contacts.
