OTTER LLC helps Make Texting Safe

Over the past few years texting while driving has become a main focal point in driver’s education, as it has been an increasing factor in car accident statistics, especially for the younger generations. A texting driver is 23 times more likely to get into an accident than a non-texting driver.

As social media and constant mobility interaction becomes a part of our daily lives, users feel the need to be engaged at every moment, even while driving. In order to prevent any type of accidents from occurring technology and safety must join forces to create a solution, since the most obvious one, which is to just simply not use your mobile device while driving, seems to be impossible in this generation.

OTTER LLC is the first company to develop and market a GPS based-auto reply Text and Drive solution that is available on many smartphones in the wake of this immediate need for mobile safety. The new application automatically replies to the phrase “@” (at) with a text map link of a user’s location.

“This is another tool by OTTER LLC that will dramatically reduce lethal text conversations while driving and help increase productivity in any situation.  How many location based queries via texts, emails and calls do you get a day?” asks Erik Wood, Founder and CEO of OTTER LLC.

Although it is most profitable for companies to create apps that are in demand from the entertainment industry, like social media and networking, there is a dire need for companies to focus on maintaining safety when users are engaged on their devices.

OTTER LLC is a technology company that develops solutions to make mobile communication safer. It has already created an array of OTTER apps that provide users with one touch text responses, auto reply, parental control features and five preloaded response groups.
