Cellrox Collaborates with Fixmo on BYOD Solution for iOS Devices

Multi-persona mobile solution provider, Cellrox, has teamed up with mobile risk management company, Fixmo, to provide companies embracing the ‘bring your own device’ movement the ability to offer users of iOS devices a clean separation between the work and personal sides of their lives.

Through the partnership, Cellrox will integrate Fixmo's SafeZone workspace solution with its own multi-persona solution, which will not only to provide a distinct separation between the personal and professional on iPhones and iPads, but improve mobile security and privacy.

Cellrox's solution allows mobile device users to switch between business and personal apps with just a swipe of the screen, giving IT departments access to only business-related content while keeping personal content private and only accessible to the device's owner.

“We are thrilled to partner with Fixmo to extend our comprehensive and highly secure solution for BYOD to iOS devices,” Omer Eiferman, CEO at Cellrox, said in a statement. “By bringing together best-of-breed solutions, our customers and partners can now embrace an end-to-end platform for BYOD security and management that offers complete separation of business and personal data across a wider range of smartphones and tablets.”

Fixmo SafeZone facilitates the encryption of corporate data, including e-mail, documents and applications, on mobile devices.

“Fixmo SafeZone has received tremendous feedback from customers and partners for its innovative ‘secure workspace’ design that enables all business apps to work together within a highly secure, IT controlled sandbox environment without impacting the personal side of the device,” Rick Segal, CEO at Fixmo, explained in a statement. “Fixmo and Cellrox share a common vision of enabling organizations to embrace the full potential of enterprise mobility and BYOD without compromising security, compliance, or end-user experience. We’re very excited about the opportunity to go to market as technology partners.”
