The iPhone 5s Has a New Protective Case

Smartphones are all the rage today because they empower users to accomplish many tasks irrespective of their physical locations. With these devices, users can shop, send emails, connect with friends and family through social media, browse for information, use apps for routine tasks and so much more. These devices are becoming more and more sophisticated to meet the growing needs of users. Companies that manufacture and sell smartphones, such as Apple and Samsung, have come up with many models and versions to capture this exploding market.

Despite all the benefits that smartphones offer, there is a big drawback with these devices. They are highly susceptible to damage from water, dust, dirt and snow. When these devices get damaged, all the data stored in them, including contact details and messages, are lost.  To prevent such damages, many companies are coming up with protective cases, and one such company is LifeProof. This company is known for making phone cases that are protective without being bulky.

The latest cover is called Nuud and it is designed specifically for iPhone 5s. This case uses a unique lock system that forms a seal between the case and the device. This seal prevents water, dust, dirt and snow from getting to the device and at the same time, it does not hamper the touchscreen abilities of the phone. Also, there is a robust plastic frame that covers the entire display unit of iPhone 5s including the home button and the ear piece. Since the screen is recessed in the frame, the user cannot feel the plastic while using the phone. It almost feels like there is nothing between the users' fingers and the phone and the cover protects the phone as well. The case is light and there is nothing at the back, thereby exposing the classic look of the aluminum back with the Apple logo.

LifeProof Nuud is available in black and white colors and is priced at $89.99.
