Verizon Announces Availability of MiFi 4510L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot

Novatel Wireless’ new MiFi 4510L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, which runs on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network, is now available online at Verizon Wireless.

The MiFi 4510L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot facilitates businesses and consumers to create a personal Wi-Fi cloud capable of sharing the high-speed Internet connectivity of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE and 3G mobile broadband with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices simultaneously.

As a next-generation of the Novatel Wireless MiFi Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, the MiFi 4510L has been built on innovation and design, proven performance and industry-leading user experience, said officials with Novatel in a press release.

With 4G LTE connectivity on the MiFi 4510L device, customers can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps as well as upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G mobile broadband coverage areas.

Featuring simple one-touch connectivity, the MiFi 4510L device is backward compatible with the Verizon Wireless 3G network and also supports Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems.

Apart from WiFi connectivity (802.11b/g/n), the MiFi 4510L also features intuitive eInk display. This intuitive status display shows signal strength, battery level, roaming and number of connected devices.

Also available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores starting April 21 for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate (with a new two-year customer agreement on a 4G Mobile Broadband plan), the new . MiFi 4510L 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot also features WEP/WPA/WPA2 and VPN pass-through support for security.

Measuring 3.74”(H) x 2.36”(W) x 0.53”(D), the new Mobile Hotspot has been provided with advanced integrated antenna technology and a battery life of up to 5 hours usage. Capable of connecting up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices, it is GPS-enabled as well.
