Good Technology Reworks Good Dynamics Suite

Mobile devices have been making their way into the workforce and boosting productivity in a large way lately. Employees want to be able to connect with their iPad or smartphone whenever possible, but the major problems are security and app compatibility.

"Connectivity is like oxygen for today's mobile workers. The improved ability to work anywhere as long as they are connected appears to be driving higher productivity,” said Evan Kaplan of iPass. “This reinforces the need for IT departments to provide services that ensure high quality, safe and affordable global connectivity for their employees," he added.

Good Technology has been a part of the mobile productivity movement since its early days, and with the addition of its brand new Good Dynamics App Kinetics suite to the Good Dynamics platform, the company has truly put security and device compatibility first.

The integration of Good’s ‘containerization’ security model is what really drives the company’s business applications and guarantees that users stay safe and secure across all compatible mobile platforms.

"With AppKinetics and our ecosystem of Good Dynamics partner apps, IT leaders can meet their productivity and information security objectives by securing and deploying what matters most: high-value business apps and data,” said John Herrema, SVP of Corporate Strategy at Good Technology.

AppKinetics makes life a little easier for developers due to its patented technologies, which allow for the security of data within and between applications -- it’s crucial that sensitive data never be exposed to any vulnerabilities whatsoever, especially when being used across multiple apps.

That’s probably a good quality to have, considering Good’s popular Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform. Simply put, EMM allows for the management of company data across both personal and corporate-issued devices - everything from whitelisting/blacklisting and app store control to device encryption, password enforcement and the ability to completely lock the device and wipe data remotely.
