tyntec to Power GET IT Mobile's App Engagement Platform

Mobile interaction specialist tyntec today entered into a new partnership with GET IT Mobile, a mobile engagement platform provider. Under the agreement, tyntec's global SMS technology will power GET IT's popular app engagement platform, enabling not only initial downloads, but also user re-engagement after download.

"What initially drew us to tyntec was their decade-long experience in the SMS market," said Steve Gleitsmann, president of GET IT, in a statement. "The global SMS function is the most important and complex part of our communication mix and tyntec has proven to be a reliable partner."

GET IT offers app publishers a complete mobile engagement platform to deliver mobile apps from any online or offline marketing channel to any mobile device.  In other words, the platform provides a single call-to-action, unifying app delivery to users across all channels, including mobile, online, TV and print.

With the power of tyntec's SMS technology, the platform will be able to connect with users within seconds, resulting in an increased conversion rate for GET IT's clients. In fact, tyntec's technical infrastructure reaches over 750 global networks with its high-quality messaging.

"The GET IT platform is solving a very real issue facing developers today, ensuring that users download and continue engaging with their apps," said Steve Liddell, CEO at tyntec. "This partnership allows us to bring the proven power of SMS to developers and their community of users on a global scale."

In November, tyntec appointed Liddell, an experienced executive in the technology and telecommunications field, as CEO, taking over for long-time CEO Michael Kowalzik.

Kowalzik stepped down from the role for personal reasons.

In December, the company increased its global network coverage by 16 percent to reach its current total of 750 mobile networks globally. The new coverage included parts of Asia, North and South America and Europe.
